Appointments

You can book appointments on this website, on the NHS App, by phoning reception on 01618708099 and also speaking to receptionist in person at the surgery.

Book An Appointment via this page!

We are now using GP Triage, an online system that allows you to directly book an appointment with a clinician. Using this system means you:

  • Can use the system 24/7 to book appointments – no need to fill out a form and wait for an unexpected callback
  • Book both routine and urgent appointments
  • Can choose from a range of available appointment times
  • Can see the clinician of your choice
  • Can have a face to face or telephone appointment – however we ask you to help us manage appointments effectively by utilising face to face appointments only when an examination may be required.

You will be asked a series of questions about your symptoms—this helps ensure you get the most appropriate care. Once completed, you will be able to choose from a range of available appointment times and your clinician of choice.

This system helps us provide timely care while prioritising those who need to be seen in person. Thank you for your cooperation!

Your appointment

However you choose to contact us, we may offer you a consultation:

  • by phone
  • face to face at the surgery
  • on a video call

Appointments by phone  can be more flexible and often means you get help sooner.

Morning surgery

An individual appointment system based on 10-minute appointments is in operation and accords with the NHS-recommended Advanced Access system.

Appointments to see our clinicians are available each weekday between 8.20 and 11.40am.

Afternoon surgery

For these sessions, appointments are available to see the doctors or nurses between 1:10pm and 5:40pm each weekday afternoon except Wednesdays.

Evening surgery

Evening doctors’ appointments are available on Wednesdays from 4pm – 7:50pm

Evening & weekend appointments

Working in collaboration with Manchester Extended Access, we are pleased to offer access to GP, nurse and HCA appointments during the evenings and at the weekends.

To book appointments simply ask the receptionist who will arrange an appointment at a time and location that suits you best. This will not be at your usual practice, but the GP or Health Care Professional who sees you will have access to your medical record and can issue prescriptions if required and deal with other matters appropriately should the need arise.

If you need help when we are closed

If you need medical help now, use NHS 111 online or call 111.

NHS 111 online is for people aged 5 and over. Call 111 if you need help for a child under 5.

Call 999 in a medical or mental health emergency. This is when someone is seriously ill or injured and their life is at risk.

Home visits

Should be requested before 10.00 if possible and should only be for patients who are too ill to attend the surgery.

Requests for home visits will be received at other times of the day and a doctor will always discuss the requirement for a visit with the patient; depending on the individual circumstances the doctor may carry out a home visit, allocate an emergency appointment at the surgery for the same day, ascertain that A&E is better suited to deal with this particular problem or facilitate a visit to a local NHS Walk In Centre.

Before requesting a home visit, please note a doctor can see four or five patients at the surgery in the time it takes to see one on a home visit
