The Patient Participation Group (PPG) first met in May 2025 after a general invitation was sent out to all patients registered with the practice to become involved.
At the first meeting there was a general discussion with practice staff about the role of the group, and how it would operate after being set up and established.
The PPG aims include:
Organising and promoting local health promotion events to support patients in looking after and improving their health and their family’s health
Acting as a way for the practice to gather and understand patient perspectives about its services
Providing communications to the patient population.
Who can join?
Any registered patient is welcome to join the PPG.
We actively encourage involvement from patients of all ages, backgrounds, and experiences, and welcome those with long-term conditions or disabilities.
You do not need to attend every meeting to be involved — contributions can be made in different ways, and all levels of participation are valued.
Please note: the PPG is not a complaints or personal medical discussion forum. Its purpose is to focus on service development, improvement, and positive change.
